Can applications be e-mailed or faxed?
No. Only hard copy applications are accepted, and should be postmarked on or before the grant cycle’s deadline date.

Does it have to be a running program specifically?

Please see the sample budget posted on this website

Can salaries and/or stipends be included in the budget?
Yes

How long does my application stay active?
It remains active for one year. Updates to the original application during that time will not be accepted. After that time, you can resubmit an application if you desire.

What is proof of performance?
You can provide a brief recap on how the money was used, the number of children that participated, measurable outcomes/results of the program (i.e. of the 20 runners in the 5k race, 12 finished OR the winner completed the race in 30 minutes). Also, if you have pictures of the activities and/or event, you can send a couple along. This proof of performance should be sent to the Saucony Run for Good Foundation during the first year of the program, or within one month of completion of the program.

How many grants do you award?
We have two grant cycles per year, with up to seven awards granted each cycle.
